Megan Wells, M.Ed, LPC

At the heart of my work is the therapeutic relationship. I strive to create a space built on trust, empathy, and real understanding. I believe in restoring hope and empowering each client to recognize their inner strength—so they can move forward with clarity and confidence both in and outside the therapy room. Many of my clients come to therapy ready to make meaningful changes and are looking for a structured, supportive environment where they can grow through intensive homework, guided assignments, and deep reflective work during sessions.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University in 2011 and my Master’s degree in Counseling from Sam Houston State University in 2017. Since then, I’ve dedicated my career to helping clients build lives that feel more aligned, intentional, and emotionally grounded.

I provide Telehealth or In-Person sessions on Sundays and some Thursday evenings, offering flexible access for clients who prefer evening or weekend availability. Email is my preferred method of contact for scheduling and communication.

In therapy, I incorporate CBT, DBT, ACT, and person-centered approaches to help clients quiet the inner critic and reconnect with their own voice, values, and beliefs. My goal is to help clients build a life rooted in recovery, resilience, and genuine happiness. I have training in eating disorders, addictive behaviors, sand tray therapy, play therapy, and shame-trauma.
