Mary Mott, LMFT-Associate

Supervised by Karen Stone, LMFT-S

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (LMFT Associate) practicing under the supervision of Karen Stone, LMFT-S.

I take a compassionate, collaborative, and strengths-based approach to therapy. No matter how isolated, overwhelmed, or stuck you feel, you are a whole person worthy of support and hope. In therapy together, we will develop goals that meet your specific needs, from helping you build healthy coping and communication skills, to processing life’s challenges and cultivating deeper connection with the people who are important to you.

My therapeutic practice is grounded in the belief that everyone is capable of connecting, healing, and growing. I’m committed to helping clients feel understood and empowered as they seek clarity about the experiences they have had and how to move forward as the person they want to be in a life that feels meaningful and connected. I take special interest in supporting clients who are looking to heal from trauma or betrayal, develop or better understand their identity, or navigate relationship issues and life transitions.

I have a bachelor’s degree in English from Brigham Young University, a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Texas Woman’s University and am trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

Outside of the therapy room I enjoy spending time with my husband and our four children, reading, playing pickleball, and participating in my local church community.
